IMPORTANT
If
you have owned other premium high quality uniforms,
you will find that Meijin sizes are almost identical.
If you are upgrading from a lower quality uniform,
sizes can vary widely from brand to brand so
please check the Meijin chart or call our order
desk toll free (1 800 717 6288) with your height,
weight, chest, and waist measurements plus your
inseam size.
To be absolutely sure, we can ship you an unembroidered
uniform to try which you can return to us within 30 days for free embroidery. This costs a little extra as there is a $12 return shipping charge
but you will have a uniform that fits you perfectly, and the embroidery
is still FREE!
PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept custom embroidered
uniforms for exchanges or refunds.

and select the embroidery design/s (it's on the order form you complete)
and tell us what color you want and where you want it embroidered. Alternatively
call our office at the toll free number above and tell us in person.
When ordering a embroidered uniform or belt by telephone, we will ask you to send us the spelling of the name, or image of the kanji (Chinese character) you require us to embroider, (unless it is one of our standard, advertised, designs), via email or fax.
This is to ensure complete accuracy and avoid misunderstandings.

How
About a Custom
Embroidered belt!
We
carry traditionally made (sewn) belts in sizes 1.5" & 1.75" wide and many, many colors. We can embroider your name and style,
almost anything in fact, and we embroider right through the belt so no
stitching obscures the design. We sew with "gyosho" style Japanese
calligraphy which is very beautiful and unique to our company.

Cotton tenugui (手拭い), literally “hand wipes,” were introduced during the Edo Period (1603-1868), and became one of the “Seven Essential” items for Japanese travelers, and martial artists.
Ours are limited edition exclusive designs made in Japan by dyeing (not printing) 100% cotton gauze (momen) by hand. To suit international karate exponents, they are 7” longer (14” x 39”) than the standard Japansese size.
The first in the series bears the characters, Hyaku Ren Jitoku, literally “hundred practice self benefit,” a favorite saying of the late swordmaster, Taizaburo Nakamura, or if you prefer, “practice makes perfect”. Supplied in a plastic bag printed with a “noshi” greetings.
