THE MEIJIN STORY
Meijin
uniforms are the result of the a twenty year cooperation between a group
of the largest international distributors of karate uniforms.
These companies represented for many years, in some cases decades, the best
known Japanese suppliers like Tokaido, Shureido, Mizuno, Mitsuboshi, and
NHK. but felt that even the standards of these famous companies could be
exceeded as far as design, construction, and fit were concerned.

After
twenty years of development they launched the Meijin
uniform, first in Europe, and then in the U.S. It's two cuts (Standard and
Full), 24 full and half sizes, and the availability of "split" uniforms
and separates meant that anyone could now buy a uniform that looked as if
it had been custom made. An innovative design that included under arm gussets,
lined shoulders and waistband, extra waist loops and a special draw string
made Meijin unique.
A free Japanese translation and embroidery service coupled with prices as
low as half that of the better known Japanese brands, made the Meijin uniform
irresistible
The official uniform of the IOGKF, US Wado Kai, Tsunami Productions and many
others, Meijin is the uniform for today and the future! |
